FAQs
How long will it take to build my website?
Building a business website typically requires between four to six weeks of development time for smallish websites. This timeframe may vary depending on the complexity of the project, the number of features and pages required, and your business's specific needs. While there are tools and techniques I use to speed things up, creating a new site from scratch still involves careful planning, coding, testing, and refinement to ensure a high-quality result that meets the needs of your business.
How much will my website cost?
This is a difficult one to answer as no two websites are 100% alike. Hiring a Web Developer is an investment in your business, however I will work with you to design a website that is within your budget. We can always come back and add functionality at a later date.
Will you maintain my website?
Yes! I don't have out of the box packages, instead we will sit down, have a chat about what your site needs and what you want from it going forward and come up with a bespoke maintenance package that suits your needs.
Do you build WordPress websites?
Yes. But I don't host them, nor will I guarantee their performance, so I generally advise against WordPress. I have alternative solutions that work better for most use cases.
How many revisions/rounds of edits are included?
Just the one. Once I have a final design, that is the one and only chance to revise it for free before going forward. However, by the time we get to that stage our goal is to have acquired enough information to make revisions or edits unnecessary.
Can you help with domain registration?
Yes. You can register a domain through me, that is charged at cost so feel free to shop around for the best deals on that one.
Great I want a website! what happens now?
Get in touch! We will have an initial free consultation via microsoft teams, I will ask you a ton of questions about your business and business needs, and advise you on what solutions may or may not work best for you.
If you want to go ahead, I will work out the final bill for the website, and once 50% of that has been paid as a non-refundable depost I will then get to work designing the website, which will take around two weeks, during this time you'll get one free redesign (and only one, otherwise we'll get bogged down), once the design is finalised I will have your website built in around 4 weeks.
